Urban Ecology Center - Menomonee Valley / Silver City (3700 W Pierce St)
If Milwaukee had a belt, the Valley would be it — and Three Bridges Park would be its kaleidoscopic belt buckle.”
Join Silver City neighbor and Milwaukee community historian Adam Carr for a guided walk through the park he calls not just his favorite, but the best park in the world — and on this tour, he'll make his case. Through local history, personal stories, and the details most people walk right past, you'll see and feel the Valley from the inside.
The walk will meet at the Menomonee Valley Urban Ecology Center at 7:30 AM before heading out for an approximately 1.5-mile guided walk through Three Bridges Park's trails and hills. Along the way, you'll hear stories that stretch across 443 million years — from meditations on the prairie and highway refuse to love, loss, fortune, and failure.
After the walk, we'll gather for breakfast at Orenda Café, a neighborhood gem in Silver City. The $25 ticket includes your choice of any entrée and drink from the menu.
Spaces are strictly limited to 20 people to keep the experience intimate and conversational, so grab your spot today.
